Image outline

1. First, find the image that you will be making an outline around it of. Make sure it has a transparent background, like a cut out PSD or PNG. Once you find it, go to Selections >> Select All and then go to Selection >> Float. And then click Ctrl C on your keyboard. Click Ctrl N and make a new image but make sure its a bigger size than the image that you just copied. So if the image you had was 200 x 250, you should make the new image sizes 250 x 300. Now, click Ctrl E and make it centered on the new image. Like this:

2. After that, go to Selections >> Modify >> Expand, and then something like this should come up:

3. The part that says Number of Pixels, you can change the number to how much the outline pixels should have. I usually do 2 pixels. Once you are done, click "Ok". Click Ctrl C on your keyboard, and then click Ctrl V. And you should now have an outlined image! Hope this helps
