Cutting psd
1. Open up the image that you are going to cut, make sure on the layer pallett on the right says "Raster 1". If it doesn't, you can just click Ctrl A on your keyboard and click Ctrl V. Now use the Selection Tool, but click the Freehand Selection Tool:

2. Make the settings for the tool as is below

3. We are going to use the Point to Point selection type. You start outlining or doing point to point outline like around the image.

4. You keep going until you are done, and when you are, you right click it so it selects it.

5. Click Ctrl C and then Ctrl V and now you have a psd! The background should be transparent like below, I did a preview of how it should look like with the checkered grey and white background. Now when you save it, make sure you save as a .psd file.
