First all before we start open up your Paint shop pro 8.Im gonna be using Mary Kate Oslen.
First Duplicate your image by going to layers then scroll down till you find Duplicate
. After you have done that right click on the rigth side of the duplicate layer and set it to overlay.
When you have done that make a new raster layer and set it to screen .
After you have made a new layer click on paint brush and above it something should appear then make sure that you well have the same settings as mine.
when you have set the setting, click on the image where you want to put the colour blobs.
for mine i have used pink
Your layers should look like these
Then make a new raster layer and set it to screen again .
After you have set a a new layer copy and paste the texture below as a new layer.
Lastly Click on adjust then scroll down to sharpness and click sharpen
. Your now finish your avatar should look like this.
